I am a clinical psychologist with over 24 years experience assisting teens and families to navigate through these exciting, yet often times turbulent years. I am passionate about my work with youth and wrote my doctoral project on depression among teen girls.
My work history includes the facilitation of psycho-education and process groups with teen mothers, play therapy with pre-adolescent boys, drug and alcohol prevention with at-risk community schools students, and individual and family therapy with youth in residential treatment.
I also have experience as a foster care and adoption social worker, developed and directed a drop-in teen resource center, and spent eight years as the director of Sonoma County's Transitional Housing Placement Program (THPP) and Transitional Housing-Plus (THP-Plus) programs for youth aging out of foster care.
In addition to my extensive clinical experience, I am also the parent to a young adult and loving miniature Golden Doodle named Ruby.
